First the skies turned red and orange. People thought the Lord's judgement was upon us. Kings and emperors hid away in fear. Everyone forgot about us and the war. We laid down the flags and waited.

Then came the heat.

Fires consumed the world. Roaring wind carried the ashes far and wide. For years the colour green became a memory. The few survivors cherish it. Images of a world we used to know fill the sleepless nights. Trough the eyelids, a blurry streak and sparks as sharp as wolf's teeth. Counting sheep, like our mothers taught us, day and night.

Midway through the 19th century the world's civilizations had all been destroyed by a global cataclysmic event. You step into the shoes of one of the survivors – a shepherd. Can you guide your herd through a perilous land and into the safety of the enclosure?

Pastoral is a short 3D adventure game intended as a proof-of-concept and an intro level of a bigger project to be developed sometime in the near future. It was created by a team of four students as a part of the Game Development course on MFF UK.

I completed the game! The world setting was very good, and I liked that I could feel a little remnant of civilization in the world from the high mountains.

I especially liked the graphics, and was very impressed with the oil landscape-like artwork that seemed to be moving, as shown in the concept art on this page!

The controls were a bit confusing at first, and I had fun laughing when the sheep fell down from the mountain, and being scared by the wolves' attack!

Thank you! Both for the compliments and for the feedback!)) It's good to see your playthrough, it gives us a lot of insight! You were very lucky to hit all the three wolves while moving!

Looks amazing! Just beautiful... Say, any chance of it coming to Mac OS?

Hi! Thanks! I'm afraid the game isn't optimized very well to run on a Mac(( (I myself own one, so I'd know.) But if you're confident your's could run it smoothly, we can consider building it for MacOS as well))
