PRISMA
A downloadable game for Windows
AN ALL-CONSUMING DARKNESS ENGULFS THE WORLD. DEDICATED RESCUERS – THE ENLIGHTERS – VENTURE TO DANGEROUS PLACES REDEEMING THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN LOST IN IT.
A DELICATE BALANCE BETWEEN THE CERTAINTY OF LIGHT AND NOTHINGNESS IS MAINTAINED BY A LIGHTHOUSE, ILLUMINATING THE ENTIRE CITY. UNTIL NOW.
Take a voyage across the streets and rooftops of an industrial port city, while you explore your unpredictable surroundings and solve puzzles to proceed. Under pressure of time you need to do your best – for the entire city to survive.
NOTE: SOUND is very important in this game so playing with headphones is recommended.
CONTROLS:
LMB – Walk/Run
RMB Click – Drop a flare/Interact
RMB Hold and relase – Throw a flare
Scroll – Switch light colour
MMB Click – Swing the axe
Esc – Pause Menu
WARNING: You will not be guided you by the hand. I believe you can figure out your own way through it – and brace yourselves with patience. Also – the save system is yet somewhat lacking – you can quit the game and resume it, but it will only load the level you last reached. Keep that in mind.
This game is a culmination of my first year of game design studies on FAMU in Prague. The development has taken several side steps and proved a bit difficult, but finally this is almost as I imagined it.
Dedicated to Šimon
The game would not be, as it is, without the work of these wonderful people:
BART BIELIŃSKI – Sound design
JAKUB ŠULÍK – Music
And many Sketchfab users and contributors, whose names I unfortunately forgot to write down while looking for meshes.

I managed to clear it! The gimmick of making the scaffolding appear by illuminating it with lights was so confusing at first that I almost went insane, but it was an interesting idea. The scene where you rescue people trapped in the darkness and take them with you was difficult because the movements of the rescued people seemed a bit inflexible, but I enjoyed the visuals when I took many of them with me. I felt a great sense of accomplishment when I finally cleared the scene and was very happy!
Thank you for the feedback! I realize the game can be very confusing because of how little you can see at times and yes – AI is not my virtue really :-D I'm glad you liked it overall and I hope it didn't frustrate you too much!))
Aaah, I can also see you had a problem in the final level – there is actually a checkpoint in the streets that you can turn on and you don't have to play the level over and over again :-DD But it's hard to find. And by the end, you should be given white light – but you killed the "Antagonist." Maybe I should change it so that the final checkpoint gives it to you :-) Thank you for the playthrough!)
